Why are individual check-ins important for group projects?
Power dynamics within organizations and teams are real and need to be acknowledged. Not everyone is comfortable sharing their true feelings and thoughts in a public setting either because of their position in the organization or for personality reasons. Creating the space that allows them to voice their concerns, help them clarify their perspective, figure out a strategy to raise the issue with the wider group, or advocating for their perspective (as a last resort), is the role of FMRA.
